my little underground is the ongoing zine project by shannon mcmahon. it is an exercise in learning and a documentation of youth aiming to capture her time in college in new york city. centered around the current music scene (primarily in, but not limited to: new york, california, massachusetts, and illinois), each zine includes interviews with artists, personal diaries, letter exchanges, occasional essays, photographs, comics, and other noise. this website acts as a digital archive of the physical works.
